Hello! My name is Martin Vallin
Current Work
August 2020 onward - Environment Artist on Exoborne at Sharkmob.
As part of the Level Art team we have worked a lot on setting pipelines and finding standards for the environments in the game.
Worked a lot with concept art and Level design to try out all sorts of different environment situations. I have worked with everything from large scale landscape sculpting down to details on props.

Sep 2018 to march 2020 - Prop / Building artist Ubisoft Massive.
I was part of the buildings team working on the building for The Division 2 and DLC. Our team modeled and textured building pieces and then set it up in our engine Snowdrop with all wall materials and options as well as different collision and destruction systems. We also optimized a lot in the levels and do bug fixing.

2016 -2018 The Game assembly - Game Art Education

2010-2016 - Freelance Product Designer / Product Developer. Part time teacher in product design and 3D at Malmö University.

2005-2010 - Danish Design School - MA in Product Design and Interior Architecture / spatial design

    Worked as an Jr Prop Artist on the so called buildings team making all buildings and building related props for the game The Division 2.

    I modelled and textured building pieces and set everything up in Snowdrops node system. Our team worked a lot with optimising in the level also making and tweaking LODs and occluders, bug fixing and other things.
